As many of my friends know, for the past five years I have been trying to help Min, a wonderful Miao girl I have known for 10 years, to catch up on the years of high school education she had to miss for family penury.

Finally we have hit upon a solution.  A college in Bangkok, affiliated to Chichister University UK has accepted her on a intensive four week course leading to a certificate for teaching English as a Foreign Language.  This will enable her to apply to primary and secondary schools and make a living.

we need to raise $3,390.00 for the course and $400.00 for the return fare.  I hope to raise part of this with a lecture on Miao Embroidery when I get back to the UK, and an auction of several antique pieses of the embroidery.  I wll be putting images of the items on this sight, and if you would like to bed and help a young woman start a new life, please contact me on tacclub@btinternet.com
